So…proof that these little things that get made have the potential to go places and be seen by a lot of people. No doubt those of you that follow whats going on in our little group are aware that KISS was nominated for several awards at the Newport International Film Festival (See LAST update).  Well you lucky people who follow @Mat_Johns_ZFF are aware that he went, he saw, he won- Best Director in Short Film category. And those that don’t follow him and SHOULD, are now aware.

Consequently this has meant updating the Movie Poster again to include WINNER.  Having a film nominated is pretty rewarding in itself, but KISS winning something is really effin’ cool.

I’m sure you’ll all join us here at ZeroFacilityFilms extending our most sincere congratulations towards the rather talented Mat Johns.  We are so proud of him, and so happy for him that he came away from NIFF a winner.  He also got a hefty-looking glass award from them too (I reckon you could take out a couple Zombies with it, which is a double-plus).  Well done sir!

If you have a film or idea, get it finished, get it made, and put it all wherever you can. Watching KISS make this wonderful journey will hopefully inspire people that you CAN make good films which can go places- hell it can WIN stuff too! Having a great cast and crew is essential and these people who get involved and help make films are just priceless. ZFF would like to once again thank you guys involved for doing excellent work, KISS wouldn’t get anywhere without you, and we know it.
